RUNOW is a community-rooted gathering built on mutual respect, inclusion, and shared responsibility. Our goal is to create a space where every participant feels safe, welcomed, and supported at every stage of their journey.
RUNOW is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that honors the diversity of our community. We welcome individuals and families of all races, ethnicities, cultures, abilities, neurodiversities, gender identities, sexual orientations, family structures, belief systems, and educational backgrounds.
We believe learning and growth happen best in spaces rooted in curiosity, compassion, and respect. Differences are not only accepted here, they are valued.
Zero Tolerance Policy:
RUNOW maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, hate speech, intimidation, or harmful behavior of any kind. This includes behavior based on identity, belief, background, or lived experience. Any individual who engages in conduct that violates these values may be asked to leave the conference without refund of conference registration, nor any hotel costs incurred, at the discretion of the organizers.
RUNOW is a family-inclusive conference; however, each family is fully responsible for the supervision, safety, and well-being of their own children and young people throughout the event.
Childcare services are not provided.
Parents and guardians are expected to remain attentive and engaged in their children’s needs at all times.
Youth participation should align with the comfort, maturity, and supervision determined by each family.
This shared responsibility helps ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone in attendance.
We are grateful to our host venue and aim to build long-term relationships that allow RUNOW to return for future years. All attendees are expected to treat the facility, staff, and surrounding community with the utmost respect.
This includes:
Caring for shared spaces
Following venue rules and guidelines
Cleaning up after yourself and your family
Modeling respect and responsibility for children and young people
Our collective care of the space reflects our values and supports the sustainability of this gathering.
By attending RUNOW, all participants agree to uphold these values and policies in good faith. Together, we create a space rooted in trust, growth, and connection, where learning flows in all directions and everyone belongs.
